• Welcome to Gary Johnson Children's Photography! Gary loves to photograph children, whether they are newborns, toddlers, or tweens. They are so unpredictable, allowing him to capture candid moments that parents will treasure forever. You will love to be reminded of "the way they were" for many years to come, as you look at your custom-designed wall portraits and albums.

Gary Johnson is an artist and as such requests that the work he creates be allowed into art exhibits, studio displays, print competitions and other places that his work is featured regularly including Social media, like Facebook.  The work is always showcased in the best possible way and will never compromise or jeopardize the photographer’s hard earned reputation.  Confidentiality in advertising is always maintained.  I also agree that the photographer may use any images created during my commissioned session for advertisements, sale or trade or other use as deemed appropriate by Gary Johnson Photography.  I agree these images can be used without any additional compensation to myself.

1. The $95 session fee pays for the time and talent of the photographer and for your in-
person viewing appointment.  It does not include any finished portraits.  The $95
session fee is due at the time of your pre-portrait consultation.  During the
actual portrait session, I will collect approximately half of the amount you plan on spending during your purchasing appointment.  The remainder of the purchase amount is due the day of your portrait selection appointment.  We do have a payment plans available for those who are unable to pay in full at the time of the ordering appointment.
2. If you have a sick pet/child on the day of the session please call to reschedule.
If you try to keep the appointment, we will most likely request that you reschedule if
we notice your pet/child is sick.  Sick or uncomfortable pets/children do not like to be
photographed and we know that you will not love your portraits nearly as much as if
he or she was in good health.
3. Please bring only the subjects to be photographed to the session.  This is
especially important with pets and kids, as we need their full attention rather
than looking at other members of the family.  Of course parents are always welcome!
For small children it is especially important that you monitor their activities and
whereabouts to assure their safety.  Parents may be charged for something damaged or broken by a child who is not properly supervised.
4. You agree to hold harmless, Gary Johnson, his representatives, employees and
Gary Johnson Photography, from any dispute in the event you or your family members, become injured during your session or while on the property and studio premises.  Gary Johnson Photography and its representatives will not be held liable for any injury incurred by you or your family, or any damage to your property during the photo session or while on studio premises or on location at a remote portrait site.
5. You will view your portraits at a personally attended slideshow. You will be
asked to order at this time.  Please make sure all decision makers are present at
the viewing appointment.  We do not want your spouse to be upset over a purchasing decisions you have made.  Additional ordering appointments incur a $100 fee.
Please do not bring small children to your ordering appointment so you can devote your
full attention to this important process.
6. While Gary does capture many images during your session, you will see only
those images selected by him, the artist, for previewing.  He carefully renders each
image to ensure maximum artistry and technical perfection.  Images with eyes closed,
heads turned, duplicates, etc. will not be shown and are removed from my archives
permanently after the artist rendering is complete.
7. The order will be sent to the lab for printing immediately after the ordering session.
Once an order is sent to the lab, it is deemed non-refundable. Payments may be
made cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, or American Express.  As stated above, payment plans are available.
8. Design work and custom graphics will be approved for color and layout in-person on
our professionally color calibrated monitors at the ordering appointment.  Only font
style, spelling and wording may be approved through electronically emailed proof.
Remember, your home computer or other viewing device may not show the true colors of your images because they aren’t color calibrated.
9. Please allow 3 weeks for your order to be completed. Some orders may take
longer.  Your portraits are an investment and an heirloom that should not be rushed.
You will be notified by telephone or e-mail when your order is ready for pickup or delivery.  If you are unable to pick up your order, we can ship your order to you for an
additional charge.
10. All ordered images are kept on file for a period of 1 year.  Un-ordered images
are removed from our archives after 30 days. Re-orders placed more than 60 days
after the preview appointment, require a minimum $150 re-order amount.
11.
